clamav update

<< < (2/2)

vint:
Is this something I have to update manually or is the version updated in lite updates and I just have to wait for it to come down the line?

vint:
Thanks for the response firenice03 but that is what I do every other day.  I type in sudo freshclam and I get the error as desctibed in the manual tutorial, I type in the required response and type in sudo freshclam again and I receive CLAM AV IS OUTDATED, ClamAV update process started at Wed Aug  3 14:09:29 2022

This is the first time I've received this notice when refreshing clamav

firenice03:
@vint

--- Code: ---sudo freshclam
--- End code ---
(not clamfresh) will refresh the definitions - confirm this is correct else try Lite Updates for the applications

Howdy folks,
When I go to the command line and check that clamav is up to date it said your clamav version is out of date and gives me a link to the home page of clamav?  What gives? I thought that it automatically updated when sudo clamfresh is typed in.  Does anyone know what is going on by any chance, I use the clamtk ui to do my scans would this have anything to do with it?
