Title: Bug in reverting the menu
Post by: cerise on April 02, 2014, 01:00:51 PM
I clicked on the revert button to reset my menu - but it did not go back to the original state as it was during and after installation. Instead, the "Install Updates" disappeared and the icons for the first 3 submenus for System went missing.

It's not a 'bug' the LL menu is heavily modified and as such Revert does not work. This has been covered before, so you will have to reinstall I'm afraid.

Hello!

I saw something online about backing up the .config folder as a tarball to safeguard the old menu structure, but I haven't actually put that to the test yet.

There are also less destructive menu editors out there (lxmed, menulibre), but they're less powerful as well...
