  • CPU: Intel i5-3230M (4) @ 3.200GHz

  • MEMORY: 16Gb

  • VIDEO CARD: Intel 3rd Gen Core processor Graphics

  • Kernel: 5.x
You'll also need to go to Window Manager (Menu > Settings > Window Manager), click on the Advanced tab, and uncheck "With a dragged window."

Hi Premier69,

Welcome to Linux Lite and the community! :)

Indeed the Xfce Desktop can be configured in a similar manner. Therefore it had been even suggested to make this a default setting due to the target audience of Linux Lite :)

Here is how you can achieve this:
Go to Settings Manager -> Window Manger Tweaks -> Accessibilty -> Automatically tile windows when moving toward the screen edge. While window wrapping is disabled to make windows tile also on the left and right border of the screen.

Hope that helps :)

hello

I like the window managment of windows and am hoping there's a way to go about the same with Linux Lite.
Namely;

I MS Windows when i drag a window around i can 'slam' it against the top to maximize it and I can use the window + arrow keys to move a window around and is there a way to do this in linux?
