Well that was embarrassing. :)
altman
We had a crazy party last night. I'm still recovering.
justme2 try what I said to altman. lol

Thank you misko_2083 that  worked a treat! I am ashamed to say that I never noticed the position setting. The right click 'Edit Applications' choice is still greyed out but I can edit the menu through Alacarte.

EDIT: Properties/Behavior tab, corrected Edit Applications entry to 'alacarte'.
Right click option now working OK.

Happy holidays! :) :)
It s part of the learning process mate , nothing to be ashamed of .

We have moved from the subject here.
Maybe we should open a new topic. :)

Hi altman,
You can switch the categories to the left side.
Right-click on the Whisker menu button and choose Properties.
Tick 'Position categories next to panel button'.
Try creating a new menu like this:
Right-click on the panel. Then select Panel > Add New Items...
In the search bar type 'whisker'.
Select 'Whisker Menu' and click on the '+ Add' button. You'll see the new icon next to the Time/Date.
Right-click on that icon and see if the 'Edit Applicaions' optin is still greyed out.

Thanks, you must have been replying whilst I was editing my reply! Looks like time to reinstall and move to LL2.2 ( or just accept the revesed menu)  :)

Thanks for that, that looks like the Menu has been reset, how that has happened there's no point in speculating. Suffice to say it's irreparable.

Menu on left side of panel is reversed, right way round when moved to right of panel.

The only changes I made were to add menu entries for wine apps. The last entry failed to show on the menu and from that point on the 'Edit Applicaions' option became greyed out.

Many thanks for your continued support.

Have you done any configuring, editing whatsoever of the Whisker Menu? It doesn't just stop working overnight, there must be a cause. I have used the Whisker Menu since it's inception and have never had the kind of issues you're describing. Perhaps you can post several screenshots so we can get an idea of what we are looking at here.
