Title: Windows keyboard
Post by: then00b on July 10, 2017, 12:58:47 AM
Hello!

My friend gave me a keyboard (HIGH-SPEED SERIAL BUS USB 2.0 that has a backlight). But, unfortunately the backlight can be only activated with Windows OS. The only thing that lights up (on this OS) is the Caps and Num Lock. Now, I am just wondering, is there a way to make this work on this OS?

Nevermind! I solved it by typing "xset led on" on terminal. :D

Had exactly the same problem with a Rii gaming backlit keyboard.

That fixed it.

Many thanks then00b  :) :)

Was messing about with this to get the keyboard to backlight on boot on LL 3.6.

Open Session and Startup from Menu and go to Application Autostart.

Click add which opens a new box and at the top type keyboard.

For the bottom box which is the Command box type xset led 3 and close.

Reboot and keyboard backlights on boot.

It works.... :)
