Hello to all,

Recently I've been curious about screen mirroring between my phone and Linux Lite setup.  Namely the reason, watching videos on my phone directly from within an app

In all honestly I'm not the best at working things out and wasn't sure where to start. :o

I know I can download videos from within the app to my phone and transfer over to my netbook but I thought this could get fiddly.  ???

On my phone I have Miracast /screen mirroring capabilities and when I connect via USB cable the phone in question, it charges - but is not recognized as far as I'm aware as a device on the system/desktop at all.

My first thought, I would need possibly an application to work as a go-between like a video player so perhaps why not force an install through Wine perhaps?

I really wouldn't know where to begin,  your answers and suggestions are appreciated.

Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section.
