[ SOLVED ] New PC monitor shows different model and size

  thanks every one, ok, good to know, no black bars , everything is just fine, it has full HD resolution. so i will just ignore it .

The size (27-inch) is less important than the resolution. And 1920x1080 = full HD resolution, so you are getting the best image available.

(I assume you aren't seeing black bars around the outside of the screen image?)

ok, i guess there is now way to make it display at the full 27" instead of 22", or is there ?

  ok i have a new Pc monitor , its a "LG 27MP38VQ‑B ‑ 27" IPS LED Monitor ‑ Full HD" . its really nice , no problem so far on linux lite 3.8.

but the the display say 22" , instead of 27" . so far this is not a problem visually, just wondering if i can fix it, do i need to download something ?, like a driver ?.
how can i get it to display it at 27" .
