Title: New laptop works great with LL except touchpad
Post by: icedigger on December 27, 2018, 08:32:34 PM
So I bought a used Alienware 13 r2 today and installed LL uefi edition.  The legacy edition would not install.

Everything works great on it except the touchpad.  Very oddball issue.

I can use the touchpad perfectly fine, tapping to click on things etc... The problem occurs when I want to use the actually 2 physically click buttons at the bottom, right and left.  As soon as I click on them its almost like its in an infinite loop of just holding down that right or left mouse button.

I can get out of it by restarting the computer but I can't click on anything.

The weirdest thing.  Even on the OLED touchscreen I can't do anything anymore.  A restart is the only thing that fixes it.

If I install windows everything works great.

System specs:
Intel i7 6500u, 16gb ram, nvidia 965 gtx, 1x 512GB PCIE NVME drive, 1x 1TB PCIE NVME drive, 13" OLED Touchscreen
