Replaced LL 3.0 updated to LL 3.2 by new installation from LL 3.2.

Lite Desktop Widget now visible in Menu->Settings->Sessions and Startup.

Problem solved.

Thank you firenice03 for your reply.

I have updated as suggested :-

Menu, Favorites, Install Updates
Menu, Settings, Lite Upgrade

but without success.

Thanks for the other info but I am not planning to  dual boot any additional OS's beyond LL.

Welcome!!!

Since 3.0 to 3.2 you may want to try.. https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/release-announcements/linux-lite-3-2-final-released/30/
Which asks to try..
Menu, Favorites, Install Updates
Menu, Settings, Lite Upgrade

You may need to reboot after the fact for the box to show (I believe I needed to when I upgraded)...

Additionally - if my memory is serving me correctly... If you're planning to dual boot additional OS's beyond LL; there was a change to grub between 3.0 and 3.2..  In LL3.0 and the prior, LL grub liked to control boot, in 3.2 grub wasn't as controlling, the updated grub is available from a fresh install of 3.2 it did when upgrading..

Some info for awareness..  :)

I installed LinuxLite 3.0 on to a separate powered external hard drive connected to a Toshiba C660 laptop running Windows 10.
The Linuxlite was upgraded to 3.2 using Menu->System->Lite Software

Using info from the online manual ->customize:-
Menu->Settings->Sessions and Startup does not list the expected Lite Desktop Widget to tick.
(The expected Compton is also missing)

How do I add this to the list so the widget can be activated?

Thanks
