Hello @firenice03 it is perfect :)
on this keyboard I also have some extra keys for things mutlimedia (VLC Player control keys) that I use so it is good to not need to change keyboard.
One way on windows is they use Alt Gr then type 4 numbers then the letter, so 6 keys, half the speed of LLite ;)

That's true.. I've used the Alt+1111 method before - I originally was looking at this option in Linux, but I do like the way I found; alt + accent type + letter :)

Hi,
Already solved but for the record ;)
French use some of these caracters too and since in Canada, we use qwerty keyboards which is a lot similar to your picture. We also have the Alt Gr, which I used for this test.
Keyboard selection is Canadian Multilingual (not part 1 or part 2). I was able to create all the needed caracters and has a full keyboard. No drivers of special config.

 Cheers!

@firenice03 Thank you  :) :) :)
The first one works perfectly.

I set it to win right, as I didn't have an RtAlt, only Alt Gr on the right, win right, aka panda right, both win keys have a panda gel sticker on them.
Single three keys works well to solve it for me, and I get to use the panda key I have never used before, the win right and the ' are close just one key between them so its fast to type it.
It is better than having to change a full keyboard in the usb each time.

As I was posting - you did too but here it is anyway LOL
The previous may/should work... Set right alt, then the following RtAlt, ', e for é  worked on forum too :)

OR ?? and not sure if whats needed...
There is this?

Or there is language suppport - thou I don't know if this changes what you need..

**UPDATE**
My post probably doesn't help as much as a full keyboard... As for each accented letter its 3 keys that need pressed for 1 letter..

Good Luck thou Happy Hunting :)

I found this keyboard http://www.nascanna.com/p3/mearchlar/

Edit - http://www.nascanna.com/p53/coras-linux/

"Níor scríobhadh an tiomántán don chóras Linux go fóill.
Tá sé i gceist againn é a chur ar fáil nuair is féidir.
Níl aon chúis nach n-oibreodh an méarchlár le ríomhaire Linux.
Má tá fonn ort an brat a scríobh, déan teagmháil linn! Tabharfaimid méarchlár saor in aisce duit!"

"The driver was not written for the Linux system yet.
We intend to make it available whenever possible.
There is no reason why the keyboard would not work with a Linux computer.
If you are eager to write the banner, please contact us! We will give you a free keyboard!"

Is there Gaeilge keyboard layout ?
So I can switch between on panel, we did have this switch function on the older Linux Lite in the past.

Fadas (síneadh fada) , these are the characters I need, I copy/paste these, and the info about it from internet below -

á, ó, ú, í and é

Á, Ó, Ú, Í and É

Alphabet is - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, M, N, O, P, R, S, T, U
Plus fada (long sounds) - Áá ("aw", /aː/), Ee - Éé ("ay", /eː/), Ii - Íí ("ee", /iː/), Oo - Óó ("oh", /oː/), Uu - Úú ("oo", /uː/)
There does not exist in alphabet this ones of English J, K, Q, V, W, X, Y, Z
They can be used for "loaned words" from the other languages in the world etc.
Example like
Zú - Zoo
Vóta - Vote

So it is why it is needed the fada.
Is it too much info, or not needed info about it ?

@bitsnpcs I found this and tested..
https://askubuntu.com/questions/358/how-can-i-type-accentuated-characters-like-%C3%AB

The 1st answer does work - In keyboard set layout compose to RightAlt to make it work..
"Right Alt" then ~ then e for a (1 at time not all keys in 1"+"1)

Perhaps an international keyboard layout??? Not sure which symbol/letter you're looking for..
