Title: CD ROM Issue
Post by: penglezos on November 12, 2017, 10:58:29 AM
Dear Linux Lite community,

I hope you are doing all well. I have noticed a strange issue on both my computer's CD ROM and my uncle's. When I'm trying to put a cd/DVD on my player nothing happens. I double checked if my player is connected well and it is displaying right. My thoughts are if the permissions are not set right?
I'm really glad to share any information if needed.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Yours,
penglezos

Have you checked the cd / dvd is mounted on your device?

Try to open directory /media/cdrom from file manager.
Are you found something like files or folders?

Hi @penglezos
Both yours and your uncle's pc run LL? Same version? Did you check linux lite user manager for cdrom group?  Not even sure it that has something to do with your issue but it might worth a shot :)
