Hello!

I know what you mean. All sorts of accessories that quit working when Vista came out now work again on Linux Lite.

The other day, I found an old Bluetooth stick that I had lost years ago. When I plugged it in, Linux Lite recognized it immediately. All I had to do was apply the Bluetooth fix that I posted here on the forums, and now it will pair and work with all my Bluetooth accessories. On Windows, it needed Blue Soleil to work, and I lost the installation CD for it ages ago.

Additionally, their newest trial version wouldn't work with it in Windows 7. Even if it had, I don't want to pay them $30 to (perhaps) use a dongle that only cost me $10 in the first place...

... is the no-fuss way that it accepts new commonly-used hardware. This morning I plugged in a new mouse and it just went to work no problems. I remember that in windows one would get all the notices about 'found new hardware' installing your new hardware' etc...even for just plugging in a new USB thumb drive!

It's so refreshing!

:)
