With all the dust. It helps to have something to blow your nose.

A more powerful laptop - Pentium T4300 Dual-Core 2.1 GHz with 2GB RAM - used as our media center. Runs KODI and VLC with almost no problems. Plugged to our TV by a VGA cable as the laptop lacks an HDMI port.

My fiancee's student laptop - another Intel Atom netbook, but with a better CPU (N280), works very well with LL 3.2. Came with WinXP OEM, was almost unusable, now works great with LL 3.2. Using the LL 3.0 desktop background as we like it better than the new one.

Other man cave. I have a few. I thrive on Chaos. Formality is non existent in my personal spaces.  I acquire  my computer gear mostly for free from City Hall. When they upgrade. I get their old gear. I got connections.  ;)   One picture shows little single core n270 atom touchscreen net-book running Linux Lite 3 32 bit. One desktop (Acer AST-180 Tower) runs Linux Lite 3 64 bit. Bugs bunny desktop (Dell 3400 server)  is AntiX.  Net-book is a M&A Companion Touch (also known as a Intel classmate).

(http://en.zimagez.com/miniature/netbook3.jpg) (http://en.zimagez.com/zimage/netbook3.php)

Chaos makes me comfy. Being a Biker. I know where everything goes and is located in the way i keep things located and arranged. My place. Seeing it used to be a hospital. Has a lot of room for different man caves for Neanderthals like me.  It is pretty huge. My caves used to be patient rooms.  8)

Thank you Jerry  :)

Hello torreydale,
yes I have KVM switch box, between nearest computer to the desk, and the external hdd.
The KVM I have can only do 2 computers. I have another KVM for the other 2 for desk#2.

Update -
I have a KVM that does all 4 computers now on desk #1, and also I have x2 of 4 switches for USB, one switches the usb mouse, the other switches the printer.

Thanks. Trying to set up a Silverline wireless mouse+keyboard combination; the keyboard works but the mouse does not. I will try new batteries for the mouse, otherwise I will use a separate wireless mouse.

Are there TV-style remote controls for a computer? I will probably go looking for one on AliExpress :-)

Nice set up Golan2072 :)

Yes there are TV-style remotes for a Linux Lite computer.

Also there are remotes, that have a small sized but full keyboard, and include air mouse functionality, and gives full desktop, software and terminal control on Linux Lite, you can read about it in the Kodi by remote thread. (https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/on-topic/early-testing-kodi-in-linux-lite-with-a-remote-control/msg30152/#msg30152)
Super good for completing media systems on Linux Lite.
There are photos of the Rii like one with air mouse, to help in finding it, it is available on eBay.
Inside the battery compartment, there is a space to securely hold the dongle, so it cannot get removed, or lost from the system when not in use.

For now, Linux Lite 4.8 on a Lenovo ThinkPad T400  + Kingston A400, 480 GB. :)
I'm going to make some changes in a few days. I think I'll keep you informed on the dedicated section:
https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/installing-linux-lite/ (https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/installing-linux-lite/)

Did my best to re-create at least a bit of what it feels like. The desk is hand-crafted by me, some 17 years ago... :)

PS: Enlarging image.
If you want the details, click on the image, then use the arrow keys to navigate.
Discovered that, testing the crazy idea that it might work.
It proved to be less crazy than I thought, though... :D
