I'm running LL 3.8 (I need to use an older version due to display issues). I love the xfce4 weather app, but when I go the Details tab, I get this:

Met.no LocationforecastLTS API states that this version
of the webservice is deprecated, and the plugin needs to be
adapted to use a newer version, or it will stop working within
   a few months.
Please file a bug on https://bugzilla.xfce.org if no one
   else has done so yet.

I have tried downloading and installing newer versions, but can't get them up and running. I'm not very good with tarballs. I installed UXterm in the hopes that it would be able to open the extracted file and install it, but nothing happens.

Anyone have any ideas?
