Have loaded via synaptik GTKPOD and latest libidevicemobile. Not sure how to access latter.
Trying to avoid jailbreaking if possible (absinthe route?) - As last resort happy to sacrifice IOS and try to run an ANDROID or LL??
Ideas/guidance appreciated (Newbie)
BTW Happy New year etc to all.

I've installed gtkpod via Lite Software. If something's available the Linux Lite way, I always try that first. The Clementine music player is also available via Lite Software.
There are some hardware devices not supported by gtkpod, but since their website seems down, I think it is, but it's hard to know for sure if your iphone is in the list.
