@v-grimalkin If you dont want Chrome..... no chrome is needed..  ;D
Firefox is LL default browser.


Updates has its own gui too... Lite Updates or from the welcome screen  :)
   

Kind of thought so, but I am being cautious.  Thanks so much.

Having just read a few comments about update errors, I would like to know if Google Chrome is required in order to perform software and security updates to Linux-Lite 4.4 before I install the os to my pc notebook.

I try to avoid anything Google as much as possible (ha, ha), so I refuse to have their browser on my Acer.  Will someone please clarify this issue for me?
