I've just been on the "Publisher = Partners" and the way I read it, you are only tracked (anonymously) if you sign up for it.
Which I don't think I will,(at the moment) I'll just disable the ad blocker on certain sites I visit such as LL.

OK. I didn't read it that way, or didn't read carefully enough to understand that. Then Brave would be a browser I'd at least be interested in checking out. Thanks, Keith.

OK, Keith. Yeah, please post any info you find on this. I'm always interested in a browser that is fast, safe, and secure. I just don't understand the payment thing. Maybe I'm getting too old too.

Hi Steve,
sorry I can't shed any light on your concerns.
I only started using it a few days ago.
I used to be concerned about tracking, but to be honest I've given up, I think because I'm getting old.
I must admit I just by-passed the "publisher = Partners" payment thing.
Hopefully someone will be able to clarify.
If I find anything out, I'll let you know.

I read over parts of the Brave Browser website. One thing I found that I don't truly understand, but seems a little weird is the whole "Publishers = Partners" payment thing. I found one sentence that flew a flag for me. it's this: "the Brave browser automatically and anonymously keeps track of the publisher sites each user visits". At a time when I'm trying to be as anonymous as I can, I have to be a little concerned when a web browser states it is going to be tracking me and reporting at least part of my web surfing to a third party. Are you familiar with this? Can you shed a little light on the matter?

  "So instead of blocking all ads, Brave seeks out the really intrusive ones–those ones known as “Malvertising” that can install malware on your computer without your knowledge–and replaces them with Brave’s own advertising that is less intrusive on your privacy."

A relatively new browser developed by the co founder of the Mozilla Project and creator of JavaScript Brendan Eich.
It's open source and has an inbuilt ad blocker and blocks third party cookies etc. All this speeds up browsing.
One thing I find helpful is when you put the cursor over a tab it shows whats in that tab.
Over the years I've tried all the browsers and always come back to Chrome (never got on with Firefox)
But that might be about to change 
Well worth a try.
