What if....?
Linux is my choice.
The platform, seems to be sometimes the problem but as far as I see, Linux made it through.
As long as there is a way, I'm sure things will work.
If Intel or AMD push the boundaries towards "embedded features" that clearly prevent GPL software to run, I'm pretty sure something will come out and replace these unsolicited "features".
I belive that the Community can change things if we want to.
It happened with PI. What can possibly prevent us to make a different choice than Intel? Affordability?
Too debatable I guess.
And for the specific solution Apple opted for...
I will embrace it gladly as soon as it comes. One condition, though... A small, tiny one:
Public Open Hardware Licence.
Am I asking too much?
Well, if so, my money are as good as their hardware. ;) Nothing less.

And no, we won't be producing an ARM version of LL in the future :) unless ofc we have zero choice, or are forced to like we were with Intel and UEFI.
