Hi Jerry,

I think I got it now:

I didnīt need to create an account.
Seems I was missing one crucial point:

Immediately after uploading the pics to Imgur I have to click the 3 dots on the top right corner of the picture.
You pointed that out in your how-to:

Hover your mouse over the top right hand corner of the image and click on the 3 dots,

Yet it seems I continuously managed to  miss this point. 
So sorry.

Thanks Jerry, for the animated instructions of how to do it. 

I understand it well, but I simply donīt get the same Imgur surface you seem to have available.
I have the three dots - thatīs true - but "Embed" and "Download" are the only options Iīm offered.
No "Get Share Links" and its sub-menus. 

Perhaps these options are offered after having created an account and signing in...?

Sorry, I hope I havenīt offended you in any way. 

Hover your mouse over the top right hand corner of the image and click on the 3 dots, and then click on Get share links from the drop down menu and copy the code from the BBCode box in imgur and paste it on a line in your post where you want the picture to appear

What I meant was: I couldnīt find the option "BBCode" on the Imgur page.
The three dots just give me the two options "Embed" and "Download".

Alas the instructions donīt seem to be up-do-date any more?
At least I cannot find the BBCode on the Imgur page.

The instructions were last updated on June 20, 2022, 01:57:42, and I just checked them, they're 100% accurate and are a match to Imgur. We embed images here because people are much less likely to click on links in case they are malicious. Embedding them in BBCode minimizes the risk to members.

Well, I didnīt know that. At the moment Iīm still on Lubuntu but LL is a very hot candidate for my switch.

Well, I didnīt want to install the OS in a VM; just wanted to have a look around.
But thatīs what I was thinking as well. Surely LL has to be installed for the command to work.

I belive you forgot to really install the system. If you are using a virtual machine, this is the answer you get.

Below, is my output, on a phisycal installation of LL 6.0:

I hope this will give you a clue on how the command works in a real environnement.

In fact I did use  the command

Thatīs the exact output I got from distrotest.

BUT:

Thanks to you providing your output I see the command does work well.
Perhaps the OS needs to be installed in order for the command to work.

Still... itīs odd that the command works for e.g. Lubuntu 22.04 (still using distrotest) but not for LL 5.0 in distrotest. 

At any rate it was good of you to provide your output. Thanks a lot for that.

The Support Status doesn't work on my LL6.0 VM which looks to have been removed in favor of Security Status..

Hi all,

before downloading and installing Linux Lite 6.0 I wanted to run some tests on it making use of distrotest (https://distrotest.net/Linux%20Lite ).
Basically that went well but thereīs one thing I donīt quite understand:

When running the command

ubuntu-support-status I got the following answer:

I realize distrotest doesnīt have internet connection enabled but that shouldnīt have anything to do with it ...
... as I ran a distrotest instance for Lubuntu 22.04 as well - for the sake of comparison (https://distrotest.net/Lubuntu ).

The same conditions applied here but I got the following output:

1759 packages installed
1272 receive package updates with LTS until 4/2027
[...]

Does anyone have any ideas why the command "ubuntu-support-status" doesnīt seem to work (correctly) with Linux Lite? 
Is it the same when using an installed OS?
