Lol. Specs are on YouTube :)

Jerry, are you saying speed/response on like for like computer has improved over LL 3.8 64bit - With what RAM & CPU?
-
@newtusmaximusWith what RAM & CPU?
Here's the YouTube video link youtu.be/m-aynCFVvOE
the system specs are below the video but I'm listing them here as well:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4160 CPU @ 3.60GHz
Memory: 8073MB (611MB used)
Resolution: 1920x1080 pixels
Video: 4th Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller
SSD: OCZ-VERTEX 60Gb

Wowza!
I wonder how much of this speed is due to the SSD. :-O
Also, is this video made just after a reboot / bleachbit cleaned config?
Don't want the cache/swap misleading this performance... or use of steroids. ;)
Cheers!

The test pc is a mix of old and new hardware. A modest, dual core cpu, a 1st gen - 7 year old SSD.

But 16 GB RAM is the clincher surely?

Does it actually make any difference? LL3.8 never seems to use anywhere near one-eighth that amount of RAM. Maybe I'm missing something?? Having said that, my Lenevo with 8GB RAM is very nippy, but so is my eeePC901 with 1GB RAM.

Well said @justme2 Can't we just focus on the fact that we didn't get any fatter. Surely the glass is half full here?
-
Oooh this looks good! Love the video showing how 4.0 looks and works. Excited for this version! Very much looking forward to it.

The memory in the test system is 8GB with less than 10% (611MB) being used. Am I missing something?
-
My Fault. Took the Memory figure from Jerry's Profile LHS screen, not from video. Still 8GB should also be more than ample.
