I haven't, but I find it telling that the producers of the podcast "GoingLinux" dropped Skype in favor of Discord.

I can't help it but i honestly believe that the likes of Microsoft Windows and Google Hangout + other software are nothing but spyware! I recently downloaded and installed Skype but decided to uninstall the software when i was requested to type in my mobile telephone number which i refused. In my opinion Microsoft only wanted my mobile telephone number so that they could track every phone call and even my Internet activity. So i have been looking for other voip software and came across https://appear.in and https://talky.io. Could i ask forum members if they have used appear.in and talky and what they thought of them please. Thanks all
