Title: Richard Stallman at Ted Talk
Post by: Jerry on November 22, 2014, 03:18:18 AM
If you've seen some of Richard Stallman's talks, they generally go anywhere from 1 1/2hr to 2 1/2hrs.
This is a great, concise summary of free software, and one of my personal heros in the software world and the main reason why all LL custom software, is free software.

I haven't seen any of Richard Stallman's talks before.
I enjoyed it a lot  :) and have bookmarked it to watch again.
Thank you for adding the video.
He explains very well, and the graphics were helpful for me.

That was great presentation. My only gripe was his occasional slight condescending remarks about "suckers" and how some distro maintainers don't care about freedom because they include non-free software. The overall message itself was important and aligned with my views though.
