Title: Extending the life of XP?

Hell no, why would anyone run an unsupported operating system, no bug fixes, no vulnerability updates. Stay well clear of that. Tis madness I say! :)

Mine still works and actually received an up date for a malicious software removal tool dated Aug 14th? When it brakes, will just delete it from the hdd. Hardly use it anymore these days.

Might be up your alley. I run a Windows 7 laptop just for tuning motorcycles so it is part of my business to run Windows 7.

I can't swear if it works or not since I don't have a XP machine. Maybe you can follow up in this thread and say if it works or not.
