So you think that they will make some changes to their proposed open source restrictions considering that open source runs most of the worlds machines?

My opinion? We already live in a semi-Orwellian society, baby steps is how you control a population eventually in every facet. This is a big step and open source is everywhere, so it's unlikely to spark the end of linux based operating systems. The world needs and rely's on free and open source powered servers.

Howdy Trinidad,
Thanks for bringing up this topic and the article, I've read 4 articles recently on the proposed law and it's effect on open source.  I have been using Linux Lite OS for almost a year now and don't want to go back to the old Windows way of doing things ever.  I would like to know how Jerry feels about this proposed law in the EU where almost all open source comes from, and if it is possible to get Linux excluded from the proposed changes.
Vint,
God Bless Texas
