Ian Murdock, the founder of the Debian project, passed away aged 42.

That's a bummer. Ian and I used to BS gardening a lot back in his Progeny days(Pre-Sun).
He was an avid garden guy.
Progeny was getting pretty close to prime time but the job offer he had to take.
