Thank You to everyone who voted in the poll. :)

It has completed its duration now, and I have posted a chart of the results on the blog.
I have added a table on reviews page for poll results for index of the polls.

I folllowed Jerry's idea he gave for 13 ways to help desktop Linux Grow. saying to make a blog.
I am almost positive I have read answers when searching on Google from Linux.com Q&A 8)
I am unsure how many members have blogs or channels, I have seen some nice ones, and YouTube videos too.
That is excellent results on Distrowatch :)

It is the first time I have had a blog, I have had a website before.
Blogging is totally different from the website, so I have to learn everything.

I hope in time it becomes useful for people and it they find something interesting, that it helps a bit in the  community effort to make Linux more popular because of that.

I don't blog.  I just do this and the Linux.com Q&A.  At that Q&A, I often answer questions by saying "I use and recommend Linux Lite."  Hopefully that and our forum members blogging and creating YouTube videos are helping to spread the word about the distro.  I think they are.  It's been 4 weeks since the latest release of Linux Lite and the 3 and 6 and 12 month Distrowatch listings for Linux Lite have stabilized at very good top 20 numbers.

... it is higher up the page than it was originally, so is easier to find.

Is it better to read results now ?

Hello Coastie,

Thank You for voting :)

I have edited the poll now and it is twice the width as originally.
It is still below the labels (tag cloud), but is higher up the page than it was originally, so is easier to find.

Is it better to read results now ?

Done.  :)

Can you make the poll results box bigger? It is hard to read using the slider.

Hello,

I have added a poll 'Linux Popularity and Growth', to my blog (link below).
I am asking if people can vote as to whether they are thinking about trying Linux as their desktop OS, or if they already use Linux to vote how long they have used Linux.

If I can get enough votes to make a base line, I will run the poll each year and make a results chart showing growth of Linux amongst deskstop users.
