imagine if that had been a whisky maturing barrel - Just sit inside, close the door and just breahte in slowwww!
Imagining............. :)
It was used for plum brandy mostly. The smell is now gone because the barrel was out of use for many years now. + I painted it inside.
Painting an inside of a barrel at 40 degrees celsius was quite an experiance lol.
Very nice Misko. Looks like it was a really fun project to take on :)
It was fun but seeing my nephew's reaction when he saw it - priceless. :)

Cool Beans as we say down here. Nice idea there.

Ancient story coming up:

I helped my Dad when 10 or so build out house in Nebraska on top of a old basement house (tornado alley home)
With the left over lumber. I built a killer shed with wooden floors that was to be my club house.
Like you Misko. I am eastern European (though a TX redneck biker now) and am big for my age.
So I built it xtra large.

My Dad congratulated me. Then told me thanks for building his new storage shed.
Showing my self as a hot head preceding  future things to come in my life.
I got mad.
Took some lighter fluid and began proceeding to try and burn it down.
Showing my self as a dufus when I get mad.
All I did was set my hands on fire and ran screaming into the house with 2nd degree burnt hands.
The club house still stood.

AS usual. My folks being who they are coming from the old country. Beat my ass for being a ass hat.
Then treated my burns and gave me ice cream and said sorry for not knowing I wanted that building so bad.

Then proceeded to move their garden tools and other stuff into the shed.
I love my parents.  They are the most pragmatic people I know on this planet.

Nice club house there Misko.
Thanks Rok, that's an interesting story. You were a rebel back then. :)

This is one large barrel toy made for my nephews out some useless old stuff laying around.

It's bigger on the inside. :) Just kidding...

Has a window and a small table.

Some sitting place inside. The chair and the bench on the left.

Just for the record, I can get in. :)
Getting out is much harder lol. I'm a big guy.
