@Jerry ,

Hilarious!

 :)

I hope it didn't come across the wrong way to some. It's meant to make a point that there is an obvious trend here that's not going away.
People need to be smart about this. Developers will start dropping 32bit support too. No support = no security. Think about it folks.

Just a little reminder. Any computer made AFTER 2009 will support 64-bit. Does your computer support 64-bit? Here's some information & code to enter into terminal to find out:

https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/14384/how-do-i-know-that-my-cpu-supports-64bit-operating-systems-under-linux

If your computer does, but you have less than 4 gb. of memory, consider buying more memory to keep that computer running longer. I have an older HP & found a good deal on 4 x 2gb sticks of RAM. I then moved the memory that was in the HP over to another computer. If you're unsure what kind of memory you use:

https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/28475/how-to-tell-what-type-of-memory-your-linux-pc-has-installed/

Always remember if you're mixing 2gb & 1gb sticks, make sure the 2gb sticks go in slots 1 & 3 (if you have a 4-slot for RAM motherboard). Ubuntu did a survey to find out what % of users use 32-bit. The ratio of 64-bit to 32-bit was 92% to 8%. Amazingly Microsoft has 32-bit for windows 10. Go figure?
