Password asked to open openvpn connection at panel

Well , maybe If I can find someone who disabled this feature successfully, I will be able to learn how to do it when using other distro or installing distro for other people :D

Anyway I still don't know if this feature is on by default. I'd need to install it on a harddrive to simulate but my hardrive is already working on dual boot. I wouldn't go futher than 2 OS on my system for now.

This is my first thread here and I'll try to do my best to explain my question. I have to note that english is not my first language so I apologize in advance

Brief explanation:
I use OpenVPN and I did set up it and it's working. When I click on "Network" shortcut on the down right panel - near clock/calendar there's a sub-menu "VPN CONNECTIONS"> vpnname. By clicking on "vpnname" connection that is already set up it usually connects (left-mouse click) authomatically - unless "ask every time" is checked. What I find interesting is that before I type my VPN password (or it auto connects) the system asks me for my user password in order to be able to access the VPN connection.

I LOVE that feature and I could never imagine how to do it by myself.
Question:
Is this feauture (asking for user password in order to connect to a VPN) set up by default or did I configure this by accident?
I know that in order to edit/delete connections user password are asked; what I don't get is how to configure my network manager gui to pop out a password fill every time in order to connect to a openvpn.
Short: If someone get access to my computer, the person will not be able to connect to my VPN even If the vpn password is saved on the system.
