Hello!

Thanks for the tip. I don't have one myself, but later on, it sure could help someone else who does.

If ANYONE here makes a contribution that can possibly help others with similar issues, either now or in the future, I try to 'thank' them for it, and encourage others to do the same...

“sudo rmmod usb-storage”
“sudo lsusb” still shows
Bus 003 Device 003: ID 19d2:2000 ZTE WCDMA Technologies MSM MF627/MF628/MF628+/MF636+ HSDPA/HSUPA

sudo modprobe usb-storage
- Under drives “ZTE USB SCSI CD-ROM: Telecom Modem” shows-up
- Under devices “Telecom Modem” shows-up
- On Desktop “Telecom Modem” shows-up

Eject “Telecom Modem” from desktop
“sudo lsusb” now shows

- Under drives “ZTE USB SCSI CD-ROM” and “ZTE MMC Storage” show-up

PS. On a HP DV6000 laptop just insert it after boot and it will show up in “Network Connection”.
