 Thank you both for your comments it has made his day ,(grin from ear to ear). He is 15 and would like to learn more about it at University when hes old enough. He has done more with a similar feel (which I will put up if your interested),but seems to be going more towards video editing at the moment. He did a great video edit for his rugby team on you tube.I am a bit biased mind!

That's a fine work of art.  Capturing the heat of the battle.

As for critique, I would suggest removing the circular glare effect.  In my opinion, it interferes with the flow and composition of the picture.




Looking closer, I really like these elements.  They could be interpreted as flying bullets, adding even more depth to the piece.

In that case, he is an excellent wizard.  :)

This is some artwork my son does while not at school. He gets images then puts layers on for a new look. The first one is an original given free on a forum he uses and the second is after using the effects. All black magic to me!
