Thanks bitsnpcs
I am not normally this involved with something like this, but, I have been very impressed with Beryl and its creator. (Thanks Valtam) I am so glad that there is an alternative to.....shall we say... borrowing windows disks to put on ones computer? (Hint hint nudge nudge) That way there is no fear of having to explain why it is borrowed? You know what I mean. And the fact that many of WIN 7 GUI integration was already being used by Ubuntu and other Linux systems is just icing on the cake. To my knowledge Win users still cannot hit a couple of keys and get the screen to roll around in a 3d display of multiple desktops. (Really cool) That's what got me, and the fact that Linux only uses what it needs, making the system much faster than any of the others thought about being.
Yeah, I guess you could say I am passionate about Beryl. But, it is a great product and the price is right.... 8) ;D :D

It doesn't come across as rambling at all, you explain very well how you feel about the image and what it represents for you, and done so in a concise way.
It is nice to see passion of a person on a project they do.

Well I thought so too. Want to keep it like LL 2.0 is. Simple, Fast, Free... so to speak. With the text there I am hoping that it represents Simplicity, and the cube sorta represents the complexity and yet clean look that Beryl has...

I mean the name is there, Simply, and the cube,.... well we all know that a cube of ice is clean yet complex. The reflections in the cubes that make up the block have reflections of corresponding cubes in them. It all fits together cleanly and yet if a few pieces are removed you still have a clean system, Know what I mean? I'm rambling.... sorry.

I just think its a good representation of Beryl. I just hope more people agree.

Thanks.

It looks nice how you have done it, the font, colour and placement of the text fits very well.

You know I was just sitting here and I was thinking that the Cubes wall paper is a great wall paper. I am suggesting that somewhere in that picture, maybe integrated in the cubes and reflections and stuff the words Beryl should be in there too... Is there anyone that can do that? I would like to test it out and see how it looks if someone could do that.

Have a look at what I did, tell me what you think?

Something like this but maybe a little more involved.(reflected in the cube etc...)
Thanks.
