I've already set it to Chromium via Lite Tweaks and Preferred Applications.

I ran your command anyway, which opened the Preferred Applications app, and the result is the same.

Any word on this?  I'm now getting the following whenever I click on a link.

Try setting your default browser with this tool, open a terminal and type
Code: [Select]
exo-preferred-applications -c then trying to open a link.
The Truth is out there.
Be sure to check the Manual out and always report Bugs or feature requests.

Q: I have reloaded LL 2.4 did update should the download Lite Control Center and load it.
I go back to start of this thread and have a read.

I got this from first page, but thought it would load from update even thought still classed as beta.

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install lite-controlcenter

Note to self list to get fixed 1 by 1
Read how to make LL secure.
See what else Linux Lite can do.
I think X kill is cool :)

@Scott, no way to configure this atm other than hacking the code (/usr/share/litecc/frontend/css/main.css) search in the file for 'font' and have a play. OFC you'd lose this setting after an LLCC upgrade so depending on your bash skills, you could always right a small script to sed the changes after each update :)

@Jerry, thanks for css tip, may actually give that one a try sometime. Regardless, I'm still upgrading to 2.6 when released.  8)

Is there a way to change the font size in the CC? In the screenshot below I have the default font (appearance > fonts) set at 14 but the Control Center is considerably smaller.

<click image for full size>

This is looking and working great. Nice job to everybody involved.

On the first screen it might be useful to let the user know what version of Ubuntu Lite's based on.
This is really useful for when your trying to download drivers from company websites or looking for upto date tutorials..
Based on: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS (trusty)

Preferred app = default broswer (selected via Lite Tweaks) = Chromium

But the result is the same.  Help link opens in Chromium.  All others open in Google Chrome.

I decided to try setting my default browser to chrome and had the same situation with only the help link opening in chrome, and the other links opening in firefox. After a little digging I also made the change in preferred applications and that seems to have solved the problem.

I used Lite Tweaks to set Chromium as my default again.  And again, the Help Manual opens in Chromium, but the other Control Center links open in Google Chrome.

Not at my computers right now to test this.  But I used lite tweaks to set Chromium as the default already.  Has something changed with that tweak?  If not, won't I just get the same results?

@misko_2083,

I did that, and now each link opens in Google Chrome.  But my default browser is Chromium.
Oh, Chromium is default. Sorry I lost track from all the posts.
2 options:
1. You can use lite tweaks to set your default browser. (recommended)
2. Edit the settings file manually
Code: [Select]
gksudo leafpad /etc/gnome/defaults.listand replace all occurances of google-chrome.desktop; with chromium-browser.desktop;

Did you see the post I made about kernels? (In Linux Lite 2.6 Suggestions thread).

Absolutely. I read every reply, but can't reply to them all. Every reply gets considered.
Kernels - we address held packages in the Manual. Any held kernels will be in the Final.
