For your question on dual booting try typing "windows 10" in the search box at the top right of the screen, just under the login.  There are many topics that should help you there.  And welcome to the forum.  :)

This is actually a more recent issue with Google dropping Chrome support for all 32-bit versions of Linux.  See this link for a workaround:
https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/installing-software/fix-for-google-chrome-on-linux-lite/msg21863/#msg21863.

At that link, you just need to copy and paste into a terminal the two lines referring to the 64-bit version of Google Chrome.

Hi all,

I first cut my teeth with Slackware Linux about 20 years ago working for a company pioneering video on demand over ADSL. Did that for about 3 years but since then have only worked with Windows and OS X.  In the last few weeks I have been trying out many different distros just for fun, nearly got fixed on Manjaro but then came across Linux Lite v2.8 and have been pretty impressed!

However, I did have some initial problems when running Installing Updates immediately after installing only to hit my first error dialog saying "couldn't fetch the package cache information lists" - not a good start but fixable with a visit to Dr Google which took me to https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/other/2-4-update-issue/ - which looks like an old problem rearing its head again!

Anyway, liking it very much so far - the only thing I really miss from Manjaro is their boot loader which is smart enough to remember my last used OS (I dual boot with Windows 10).  Is that something that could be done for Linux Lite?
