Title: New to Linux
Post by: Thaddeus_Pi on May 20, 2020, 11:16:07 PM
Hello

I'm relatively new to Linux. I started on Linux lite just over 6 months ago to revive an old PC. I was very impressed by the OS and the fact it turned a 12 year old laptop into a usable computer again.

I'm hoping to learn and thing or two about programming (I have a very basic knowledge, and recently started reading about C) and get involved in this community as it seems pretty friendly. If anyone has suggestions on how a rookie could get started that'd be helpful!

Hello and welcome!  Same here, running an older laptop that was "saved" by Linux.  And you're right, this IS a friendly place!
