Title: New-ish? Taking Linux Seriosly this time
Post by: efnay on June 28, 2021, 05:14:20 PM
Hello everyone, I am new to the world of Linux in a serious capacity. I have used Linux briefly in the past, but only ever as something to play around with.

Over the past few years I have been using a combination of windows and mac for both work and entertainment, but every time an update or new version was released I have been greatly disappointed. I have turned back to Linux to recapture the golden days of computing with a group of like-mind people, and I am looking forward to using this platform to its full extent!

Nice to meet you all!

Hi and Welcome!

Since I went "major league" with Linux about 3 years ago. I always found a solution when I had trouble with something.
Most of the time in the manual or these forums, or, in the ubuntu forums in worst case. But it was never too long.
I even found an app to "reprogram" the Logitech universal wireless dongle to pair a mouse I got from a different place.

I HAVE to use Win for work, but for my personnal use, I'm never going back. ;)

Welcome to Linux Lite!

I gave up on Windows in 2013 and haven't looked back. Been using LL on at least one of my systems since 2014. The learning curve can be steep at first but this forum is a good starting point for suggestions and answers to questions. Do take advantage of the LL Help Manual. There's a lot to learn from it!
