Title: Hi from Denmark
Post by: Snubbi on December 02, 2014, 11:25:28 AM
Hello All,

I've been using Linux as primary operating system since 1999. I have just installed Lite 2.2 Why I have not done it before??? Great distro. It is a distro I definitely would recommend, also for those who use Windows XP

Keep up the great work, you've made an excellent distro! The LTS factor is much appreciated. Thanks

It would be perfect if it was possible to translate the software developers created for Lite https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/index.php?topic=1240.0

Hello!

Seeing as how 2.2 Beta was just released, I must say the your timing is impeccable. This distro has come a long way in the 10 months I've been here.

I don't know if I will upgrade all of the several PCs I use from time to time with 2.2 right now, but I DO have a Dell 3135 netbook that runs 2.0 in Legacy Mode on a dual boot configuration. You see, LL hangs up on it when trying to log off, reboot, or shut down, but I've read that is because Linux can have issues when set up in Legacy Mode on a UEFI system.

Since I already have a 2.0 install on it, I may just resize my partitions to accommodate a new UEFI Linux boot partition and follow the YouTube video Jerry posted on here. If it goes haywire on me, THEN I'll do a fresh 2.2 install. I'll reply back at the video post with the results...
