Hello everyone

(1/1)

Teddy:
Welcome to the LL Community! There is plenty to learn here, so don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.

Jerry:
Welcome gramps :) Just remember a lot of things are hard in the beginning, a new job, a new skill, new wife! Like most things it takes time, hope you enjoy the ride :)

N4RPS:
Hello, Gramps!

Welcome to Linux and Linux Lite.

One thing you'll learn very quickly about the Linux community in general, and Linux Lite in particular, is how helpful everyone can be - especially to those who are new to Linux.
EVERYONE here, and in the Linux community as a whole, was a 'n00b' at one time or another.

As they used to say in the Air Force, "The only stupid question is the one that doesn't get asked." Often, solutions can be found as easily as using a search engine. SOMEONE has encountered nearly EVERY problem Linux could possibly have - at one time or another.

Just post about any specific issues you're encountering concerning your installation. I've installed LL on a number of different machines as of late, and it amazes me just how much of MY hardware has been automatically detected and configured. Needless to say, it's possible to run into issues that are machine-specific...

Hello, I'm a new user to linux. Read that Linux Lite was easy for beginners, so I decided to give it a good try. Installed it this morning on a Toshiba M105 notebook. It's been giving me fits since, been at it now for 9 hours now. Luckily I'm older, I'll be 70 in May, and have free time to learn. I'll probably make a pain out of myself with questions.
