Hello Lite community. I am (soon to be 'was') a Windows user and is new to Linux.
I just found out about Lite on DistroWatch a couple hours ago. I've checked the Help Manual but couldn't find an answer to the first question I have. It's this:
Will Lite run on my old computer?
Pentium 4, 3.06 GHz
System model: D915GAV_
32 bit
came with 2GB RAM, I upgraded that to 4GB with only 3.something available for use.
It has XP Professional
I don't want to dual boot. I just want to run Lite only. if this is not the place to post, please let me know.

Welcome!! :D :D
Should run fine on those specs...

Hello nublix,
you can be sure your computer will run like a charm on this outstanding distribution!
Welcome!!! :) :) :)

Thank you antenor :).
I wonder if anyone can help with this question.
I have 1TB of harddisk space and would like to have my /home in a separate partition than /
Are there any clear, non-techie, step by step instructions I can access anywhere to follow? Remember I am a Linux newbie and as I said before, I am not dual booting, I am replacing XP completely.

Yes and it actually preferred for future upgrades...
You would create a separate partition and name accordingly and mount it etc..., but I'll see if I can find something that explains and update...

Definitely look at what Torreydale has posted..
The thread I was thinking of... https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/installing-linux-lite/%28closed%29-clean-install-setting-up-partitions/msg847/#msg847 (https://www.linuxliteos.com/forums/installing-linux-lite/%28closed%29-clean-install-setting-up-partitions/msg847/#msg847)
Explains the partitioning, give that a look over - specifically "reply #2 by gold_finger"
I'm running a quickie install with a home partition on a "test' box..
I chose the "Something Else" option to set up the partitions, sizing and naming ("/" and "/Home")
UPDATE:
Actually the /Home partition was added in within the file system.. Only change make it "/home" not cap H.. as I ended up with 2 home directories...
Update 2:
So to add, I chose the ext4 formating (not the default leave alone) and named/mounted the 2 drives as "/home" and "/" which I checked, highlighted and clicked install (on "/").

Thanks. Will check them all out :).
