Hay there folks really liking your OS its brough back an old laptop i had to life
keep up the great work..

I use this os on lappy but debian on main pc has anyone tried making a pure debian base of this system

Not that I know of . Wonder if you add LL repo to Debian if it will work .

think it would have to be a project from debian base install then modify
it to look and feel and tweak it

When you say debian , do you mean stable or unstable .

I guess ine could try it & see what it does , just add Linux Lite repo to debian repo . never saw it before but it looks interesting . You can make a respin .

Hello!

Welcome to Linux Lite. We're glad you're happy with it so far.

Of course you can add certain LL features, such as Lite Cleaner, through the LL PPA. I use stuff like Lite Cleaner, and Thunar on Lubuntu installs instead of PCManFM. 

Personally, I have never tried any of this on a Debian system, but there's always a first for everything. As a general rule of thumb, however, it's not recommended to mix Debian and Ubuntu repositories and packages...
