Hello!

I, too, tried Puppy for its light footprint. However, for me, it just wasn't very user-friendly to low or medium-skilled users, and it was hard to install other things into it.

That's what I like about LL. You really DO get 'the best of both worlds'...

Hi, just installed Linux Lite 2.0 on my desktop pc and found a link to this forum in the Help Manual. My previous experience with Linux amounts to having briefly tried Ubuntu then Mint 16, shortly after which the (old) hard drive began to fail, and I was going to install Mint 17 on the new one but decided on Linux Lite 2.0 instead. I have also been using Linux Puppy for a couple of months on my laptop, which motivated me to consider something lighter than Mint for my desktop pc.

Many thanks to the Linux Lite creators!
