  • CPU: Intel Core2 Duo U9600

  • MEMORY: 4Gb

  • VIDEO CARD: Intel Mobile 4
Here are the Terminal results I got :

xscreensaver
xscreensaver: 21:08:42: already running on display :1.0 (window 0x1600001)
 from process 14358

So I don t see much errors in there , it wasn t doing unllogins before on LL2.2 Beta release , wonder what happened with 2.2 Finale .

Will do some Xscreensaver readings from Rokyt s link he kindly gave  & come back later on with this .

Means everything is OK. You probably have xscreensaver options set on disabled.
I got the same reading before enabling mine. Just a different job number since I am on SaliX.

In my link. There is a command to bring up the xcreensaver gui

http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/man2.html

Quote
DISPLAY MODES TAB  This page contains a list of the names of the various display modes, a preview area, and some fields that let you configure screen saver behavior.
Mode This option menu controls the activation behavior of the screen saver. The options are:
Disable Screen Saver
Don't ever blank the screen, and don't ever allow the monitor to power down.
Blank Screen Only
When blanking the screen, just go black: don't run any graphics.
Only One Screen Saver
When blanking the screen, only ever use one particular display mode (the one selected in the list.)
Random Screen Saver
When blanking the screen, select a random display mode from among those that are enabled and applicable.  If there are multiple monitors connected, run a different display mode on each one.  This is the default.
Random Same Saver
This is just like Random Screen Saver, except that the same randomly-chosen display mode will be run on all monitors, instead of different ones on each.

Run it from terminal maybe to see any errors?

http://www.jwz.org/xscreensaver/man.html

I am posting from my Salix Slackware 14.1 Netbook. I checked on my xscreensaver on it and found the tab showing it
was disabled. As soon as I selected use only 1 screensaver. It works just fine.
