Hello!

If you downloaded the .deb from Kingsoft and used GDebi to install it, it should have went into the Office category by default. To move it, you would have to use Menu > Settings > Main Menu, and create new entries for WPS Writer, Presentation and Spreadsheets in the Office category.

WPS Office does not appear in either Linux Lite or in the Ubuntu repositories because it is a commercial product. It is not licensed under the GPL (GNU Program License) because Kingsoft will not release the source code. Because of this, there's no way for anyone to know exactly what's inside there.

Use it at your own risk...

I installed the subject office software but it does not show up in the Office Folder on the Menu but in another folder called Other.  Did that not install correctly?  I expected to be in the Office folder.  I did not see WPS as an option to install using the Lite software system.  Thanks.

Edit: Also, can you tell me if I can change the menu to move the WPS Office files into the Office Folder.  Thanks.
