As long as you are up to date, with ALL your software including lite-software, you should not experience any issues like you've mentioned.

Hello!

This is something I've noticed about the new 'Add Software' and 'Remove Software': It would seem that if you updated to the program AFTER some additional software has already been installed in 2.0, those programs show up as 'Not Installed', and you cannot uninstall those items using this - it prompts you that the item is already uninstalled.

How do I fix it to change the status of these pre-installed items? Additionally, can you folks add a 'check' to be performed when installing this for the first time, to 'look' for what may already be there?

UPDATE: I just installed TeamViewer 10 through 'Install Additional Software'. It seems to have removed TV9 for me and replaced it with TV10. So far, no issues. Will try this with the other erroneous entries, to see if they disappear in the same way...

A gun in your hand is worth more than a whole police force on the phone.

Just out of curiosity -- does this apply only to LL 2.0, or is it for both 2.0 and 2.2?

Teamviewer keep changing how they package deb's. As a result it plays havoc with how we offer it.

To get the latest (10) version of Teamviewer do this:

1) Menu, System, Remove Additional Software > remove Teamveiwer.

2) Menu, Favorites, Install Updates

3) Menu, System, Install Additional Software > install Teamveiwer.

You MUST do it in this order or it won't work. Cheers :)
