Toshiba Sat pro A10 - No inbuilt microphone
Philips Webcam SPC530NC/00  USB

Webcam works  but web cam microphone does not.

SKYPE 4.2.0.11
Options
Video Devices test Fine. Lights up and pickie. :)
Sound Devices  = Microphone = only one option “Pulse Audio Server (local)
Make Sound Test – Fine.
Make test Call – NOTHING.
NB Have checked  open pulse audio control to see that that nothing is on mute.

I have found http://www.saillard.org/linux/pwc/
However unsure a) how to use/load this, b) what to load and c)  whether it will cause problems on LL 1.08

Help Please. TIA. again. Steep learning curve.
