Well, I found the culprit to the update error. I had downloaded a screen recorder and then deleted it. I found its box checked in the ppa of the software section. I unchecked it and reloaded. The updates worked after that.

OK I posted here not to long ago about an update install error. Here I am again with a different computer with linux lite doing the same thing, but this time the error is this, "Linux Lite Updates couldn't fetch the package cache information lists".
I did the three terminal commands that Torreydale gave me for the last problem I had with update errors. The commands seemed to be working in the terminal, so I restarted the computer and tried the updates again. They did the same thing as above. What should I do?
