I have accidentaly installed disroshare and now I want to uninstall it. I was unable to do this as it was installed by a .sh file. Does anybody know how to uninstall it?

I'm not sure but if I could have a stab at it I would look at the .sh file with a text editor to see where the files were copied to (if that is possible) Look in the shortcut for a directory of the file being executed.

However I know that alot of programs that run on linux are in the bin directory in your / root dir.

I know synaptic manager has a history of installs being done recorded on a daily view. (little more advanced.

another way is to run

Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get remove "program name here" without the quotes and sometimes if you press tab with an incomplete name it find similar names that are installed on your system.
However wait for someone with more experience to reply.
I'v been bashing Windows way before Microsoft.....
