If you created a restore point using Systemback, then you could revert to that.

I like My Linux lite but become unstable maybe i deleted something i shouldn't. Is there way to recover to original installation plus to keep added programs. I spend too much time setting it up don't want to go thru same processes again.
Thank you for you time.

My understanding is that stripping away default packages could make Linux Lite unstable.  You might want to consider another distro like Zorin Lite.

In case you did not know. Ubuntu comes with minimal install iso of 30MB . I have used it myself to teach myself on how to do this type of Ubuntu install.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/MinimalCD

You will need a ethernet connection during the install process. Here is posted screenshot of Ubuntu 14.04 Icewm I hand made.

http://en.zimagez.com/zimage/desktop61.php

The computer went down soon after due to lightening strikes. So that install is gone. It was easy to do though. Probably easier than stripping Linux-Lite. Becuase. XFCE alone brings in a lot of extras in it's install. Which is Siamesed in with xfce.
You remove any of those. You break XFCE and lose your Desktop.

I would like to strip down my Linux lite. I need to run only few programs : firefox browser, lamp server, and owncloud. I do not need any other program and would like to uninstall them all, even if they do not use resources. I am not sure from all those packages witch ones are critical and witch ones are not. Can somebody help me create a list of ALL packages i can remove. Thank you.
