LL-user, I just got back from work and I installed the program that you indicated and it works great, thanks a lot to you and bitsnpcs. I hope to learn Linux management soon.
To see if you recommend me some book or some .pdf file with a linux lite guide, since with the default programs and the converter that I have installed, I need more.

I do not know what will come out in the message because I am translating with google translator but thanks for the help. Recommend a guide that you can buy or print !!! regards

Hello everyone

Sorry for being so novice, but I need to install linux lite FF Multi Converter or similar. I appreciate the help.

Many thanks and congratulations for linux lite

Hola torolite35,

Am sure you'll get there with bitsnpcs's great & passionate advice.

There are two aspects I would like to mention though:

* . If you are a novice to Linux and not only to this Forum, I'd recommend following this priority list of how to install software:
  • software provided by the repositories and Lite Software.
  • software provided via PPAs
  • deb packages provided for this version of Ubuntu/ LL
  • deb packages provided for other versions or specifically for Debian
The further you go down the list, the more you are prone to run into problems, might they be dependency, system stability or security related! The less experienced you are the more you should stick to the top of the list :)

* similar software
You haven't mentioned what exactly you want to convert but seem not to be fixated on FF Multi Converter.
Therefore it might be worth having a look at WinFF as an alternative. It is provided via the software repositories, so easily installed either via Install/Remove Software or on the command line:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt install winff
Hope that helps :)

I have to go to bed and get up early tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll look at the answers to see if we can fix this. I appreciate your interest.

A cordial greeting and tomorrow we will talk. Good night bitsnpcs

I don't think there is currently Ubuntu package, there was previously but not current Ubuntu build
is why I say to try Debian package.

I will see if I can capture the error and I can send it to you

Menu>ALL>Screenshot

I use this upload host for image.

Select of results those with IMG tags at begging and end, select by x2 left click, copy/paste code into reply.

Thank you
