Title: PPAs
Post by: Artim on March 06, 2019, 06:48:50 PM
Hi,

I'm not a fan of PPAs at all.  Especially if they offer software that is already available in the Ubuntu repositories (just not the latest version, perhaps).  So I have a question about removing them:

Is it safe to remove selected PPAs that I don't think I need or want?  How much of the essential Linux Lite software comes from a PPA?  Are there essential PPAs that I should not remove or disable?

Thanks in advance for thoughtful replies!
